Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District

The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) offers outdoor recreation opportunities including camping, cabin rentals, boating, boat rentals, fishing, hiking and hunting on more than 54,000 acres of land in Ohio.

The lakes and their surrounding lands offer one of the best recreational areas in the state for anyone who wants to kick back and relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife.

According to MWCD marketing and public information administrator Adria Bergeron, the decision the visit any one of the MWCD lakes and campgrounds is simply a matter of how far and how fast guests want to go.

For instance, in Mohican Country, Pleasant Hill Lake near Perrysville is one of the few lakes in the state to boast unlimited horsepower. Guests at Pleasant Hill Lake are free to feel the wind in their hair and rev the engines of their motorboats.

Their renovated campsites, and beautiful cabins provide overnight accommodations at 8 lakes throughout the region. Reservations are available online at www.mwcd.org.
