Oak Grove Carriage Ltd

Oak Grove Carriage builds and restores two-wheeled, horse-drawn vehicles—all assembled by hand with meticulous attention to detail.

Fulfilling a specialized niche, we don’t try to be everything to everyone. Rather, we focus on what we do best: custom-building horse show carts and sulkies. And if you need show cart repair and restoration, we can fix your cart, too.

A family-owned business located in Ohio’s largest Amish settlement, Alvin Miller builds the carts and his wife Susan does the upholstery.

Similar to a new car buying process, customers select from a variety of features and have the cart built to specifications. From spindle seats and decorative fenders to ring rails, stainless steel steps and enclosed wheels, the custom-built show carts are built to last. And special touches like hand pin-striping elevates the quality and showcases the custom features.

These one-of-a-kind carts, which feature select hardwoods and quality automotive finishes, are sized to the horse and have beautiful detailing to show off in the ring or on the track. Our custom building and restoration features:

  • Lasting finishes
  • Quality hickory construction
  • Professional pin-striping
  • Upholstery colors and seating preferences
  • Add-on options available

We also can ship buggy parts, including brakes, axles, cart shaft replacements and wheels to anywhere in the United States.

Whether you are looking for a quarter horse view cart, a high rider spindle cart, a sulky or any other show cart, contact us today. We build in the order received and sometimes in as little as two to three weeks. Terms include half down on the order and balance due upon pick-up.
