Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 3⁄10 cup chopped seeded poblano pepper
- 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 ¼ pound ground turkey
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup black pepper
- 1 19-ounce can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 14-ounce can chicken broth
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 6 lime wedges
Directions:
- Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the first four ingredients; cook 6 minutes or until the turkey is done, stirring frequently to crumble.
- Stir in the chili powder and the next eight ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
