Ingredients:
- 2 pounds hamburger
- 2 cups cracker crumbs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 small onion, chopped or 1⁄3 cup sweet onion, finely chopped with ½ cup green onions
- ⅛ tsp cayenne (or a dash)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 can mushroom soup diluted with 1 can water and ¼ c. milk
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Directions:
- Mix and hamburger ingredients together and form into 7 oz. ovals, squares or rectangles.
- Coat with flour on each side and fry until golden brown.
- Put each patty into lightly greased 13x9 and pour soup mixture over the top of the meat.
- Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
- Turn the top patties after they have been in the oven for 30 minutes.
