Li'l Cheddar Meat Loaves


Serving-sized loaves that will melt in your mouth.


  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup quick-cooking oats
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ⅔ cup ketchup (for topping)
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1 ½ tsps prepared mustard (for topping)


  1. In a bowl, beat the egg and milk. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt. Add beef and mix well.
  2. Shape into eight loaves; place in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  3. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard. With a teaspoon make a dip/groove in the top of each loaf. Spoon ketchup mixture over each one.
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 45 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink.
