Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
- ½ onion, chopped fine
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 ½ cups water
Directions:
- In medium sized pot, brown meat, stirring as needed, until cooked.
- Add chopped onion and garlic.
- Cook and stir as needed, until onion/vegetables are soft. Add sugar, spices, tomato paste and water.
- Simmer on low heat for 15 - 30 minutes.
- Serve on large buns as sloppy burgers or open bun style.
