Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg, room temp
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- ⅓ cup sugar (for cinnamon sugar mixture)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon (for cinnamon sugar mixture)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for cinnamon sugar mixture)
- ⅓ cup confection sugar (for icing)
- 2 tsp milk (for icing)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Mix first 8 ingredients until wet. Pour half of batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Mix next 3 ingredients (cinnamon sugar mix).
- Sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mix on. Pour the rest of the batter on top.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar mix on top. Use a knife and swirl the cinnamon sugar into the batter. Don’t mix it, just cut it through easily.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until bread passes a toothpick test. Cool completely.
- Mix 1/3 cup confection sugar and 2 t. of milk. Drizzle over cooled loaf.
