For every season, there’s Smucker’s, and for the holiday season, the J.M. Smucker Co. Store is a feast for the eyes — just a visit away in Orrville.

“We transform the store into a winter wonderland, with holiday- and winter- themed displays and a bountiful selection

of gifts and seasonal offerings,” said Maranda Burkhart, an assistant manager of business development for the J.M. Smucker Co. Store. “Of course, just like other times of the year, we stock all your favorites, and everyone else’s on your list, from Smucker’s family of brands.”

The J.M. Smucker Co. Store, near the renowned plant, offers all the jams and jellies for which the brand is famous. Visitors are often surprised to discover that Smucker’s family of brands includes Jif, Café Bustelo and Folgers coffee, and other familiar names, including pet favorites such as Milk-Bone and Meow Mix.

“We offer seasonal gift baskets and boxes to ease holiday gift giving,” Burkhart said. “We offer themed, premade gift baskets in all price ranges, or visitors can choose from any of the items in the store and we’re happy to put it all together into a customized gift basket or box for them.”

Sweet Pics provides another option to add a personal touch to holiday gift giving.

“With Sweet Pics, you can capture cherished memories by customizing a jar with your very own photo, whether it’s a family portrait or snapshot of a beloved holiday moment,” Burkhart said. “Share a photo from your phone, take one in-store or bring a print in, and we can digitize it to create a one-of-a-kind gift for someone special or a unique keepsake.”

In 1897 Jerome Monroe Smucker established a modest cider mill in Orrville. Before jams and jellies, there was apple butter crafted from fruit believed to have sprung from Johnny Appleseed.

Smucker’s Winter Wonderland strives to create an immersive experience for visitors that embraces the spirit of giving.

“We set up several Christmas trees that are all fun and whimsical, and each has a different theme, telling a unique story through the various ornaments and other decorations,” Burkhart said. “The holidays at the J.M. Smucker Co. Store offer something for everyone to make the season brighter.”
